He dialed, and when the voice on the other end growled, 'What do you want, Hagoromo,' Takemichi smiled. It was the first real smile anyone had seen on him in twelve years.

Takemichi is the main protagonist of Tokyo Revengers, first appearing in Chapter 1 as a 25-year-old convenience-store worker whose life is upended by his girlfriend Hinata's murder. A punch from a stranger triggers his first Time Leap, dropping him into his 15-year-old body in the Toman gang's world.

His core relationships orbit around protection and redemption. He fights for Hinata, for Mikey, and for every Toman member he believes is still salvageable.
